Do you have what it takes to put a smile on somebody’s face and to help them in their time of need?

Coronavirus has left elderly people more isolated, lonely and in need of our help than ever before. At Clarendon Home Care our care workers drive from door-to-door to assist people to live independently and safely at home. We assist our clients with personal care, housework, medication, meals and all sorts of other tasks. No two days are the same!

As a Home Care Assistant you can pick up care shifts as and when you want to which means you can organise your working week however you wish. You can work full-time or part-time – whatever suits you.

We organise our rotas so that you work as close to the areas you know as possible. Our morning rounds begin at 7am and go on until 2pm while our evening rounds begin at 4pm and end no later than 10pm.

As a care assistant you’ll carry out visits from 15 mins up to 2 hours. You’ll be paid for the time spent in the different homes you’ll visit as well as travelling time of 25p per mile.

We offer staff a comprehensive induction training course which means that no experience is necessary. Our in-house trainer will work with you in one-on-one practical sessions to get you up to speed on what you need to know to do the job safely, effectively and to our own high standards. You’ll then shadow experienced care workers to learn how things work out in the field.

Our reputation speaks for itself but here’s what one of our clients had to say about us:

“Every day Mum looked forward to seeing the carers as they chatted to her while getting her washed and fed. There was always lots of laughter and they did their job which really brightened Mum up. I have worked alongside carers for years and I have never known such a good crowd of carers as Clarendon has. I can’t thank you all enough for all you have done to help me and my mum.”
