We are committed to employing the best home carers available. We respect the demands, challenges and stresses of operating in the field of care support. Our organisation is focussed on training and supporting our carers to meet their obligations, promises and commitments to our Service Users.
All our Clarendon Carers must show competencies in being: reliable, responsive, supportive, caring, approachable, flexible, thoughtful, personable, thorough, and must be able to demonstrate unquestionable honesty and integrity. Clarendon takes out full references and searches on all starters including Criminal Records Bureau checks.
The applicants must express an interest in and a dedication to providing a high standard of quality home care and demonstrate the basic skills needed to provide homecare support.
All new staff are initially assigned to work with experienced carers and receive thorough induction training. They are given additional training in moving and handling and in food and hygiene and first aid. They are encouraged to work towards gaining additional qualifications such as NVQ 2 in Social Care.
We track the quality of our home care service on a regular basis with visits by our managers or field supervisors to you in your home.
We support our careers to serve you better
